N is for Neon Magic #AtoZChallenge

For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I have chosen the theme of songs about magic. (Fitting for a fantasy author.)

N is for “Neon Magic” by the English progressive rock band Camel. This song appears on their seventh studio album, I Can See Your House From Here, that was released in 1979.  It was written by founding member Andrew Latimer and Jan Schelhaas. This short song appeared on the “B” side of the album and was never released as a single.

Though magic appears in the title, this song has nothing to do with incantations or spells. It appears to be more about the neon lights of the streets where people are hanging out.
