For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I have chosen the theme of dragons as characters. Whether they appear in film, TV, cartoons or literature, these dragons may be the star of the show or just a supporting character.
D is for Draco, one of the main protagonists from the 1996 movie Dragonheart. Draco is a large, winged beast who can speak. He has a great sense of humor and is extremely sly and sarcastic.
Draco, voiced by Sean Connery, has another name but as he says it is too hard for humans to pronounce. He gets the name Draco from Bowen, a knight of the old code. Draco is a selfless, noble dragon who gives up his life to save the kingdom from an evil king.
If you missed previous entries:

Oh yes, one of my favorite dragons. Wouldn’t it be cool to actually ride on top… and scary.
