B is for Blazey #AtoZChallenge

For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I have chosen the theme of dragons as characters. Whether they appear in film, TV, cartoons or literature, these dragons may be the star of the show or just a supporting character.

B is for Blazey, the pet dragon of the Lightfoot family in the Pixar animated movie, Onward. She is a wingless, four-legged, serpentine creature who behaves much as a dog, jumping on her owners and licking them She is kind, friendly and playful.

Blazey is a minor character in the film, adding just a touch of fantasy as the character could easily have been portrayed by a dog. But here, it adds to the overall feel of the world where centaurs, elves and fairies exist together. She provides comic relief in the film.

    Good name for a dragon.

I missed that movie. Sounds kind of like Dino in “The Flintstones”
