For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I have chosen the theme of dragons as characters. Whether they appear in film, TV, cartoons or literature, these dragons may be the star of the show or just a supporting character.
A is for Aura, one of the golden dragons in my fantasy trilogy, The Elemental. Dragons play an important part in the series as they help the humans race to save the Land from destruction by a tiny insect. Dragons of this world are large, winged beasts with four legs. Their hides are soft. These gorgeous creatures do not breathe fire. They speak telepathically.
Aura is a supporting character in the trilogy, appearing in the second and third books (and the upcoming follow up trilogy). Whether Aura is fighting magical creatures or helping ferry others across the Land, she is calm, logical, and steadfast.
Sounds like a great dragon!

I’d much rather deal with a dragon that could read my mind than burn me to cinders.
