For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I have chosen the theme of cats as characters. Whether they appear in film, TV, cartoons or literature, these felines may be the star of the show or just at supporting character.
Enjoy the A to Z Challenge…
H is for Heathcliff, another orange cat (like Garfield) from the comic strips. Heathcliff was created in 1973 by George Gately. The comic strip appears in over 1000 newspapers and also in two animated series.
He is a big orange cat who will do anything to get fish or milk. Heathcliff acts superior to the other cats in the neighborhood and is one of the toughest cats in town. He is smarter than most of the neighborhood cats and has a habit of stealing food and causing trouble. Of course, he isn’t full of just bad traits. He also shows affection for his girlfriend, friends and family.
In case you missed out…

B is for Binx
C is for Cheshire Cat
