For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I have chosen the theme of cats as characters. Whether they appear in film, TV, cartoons or literature, these felines may be the star of the show or just a supporting character.
If you are here looking for my typical Monday post on a parenting topic, I will go back to my regular schedule in May. Until then, enjoy the A to Z Challenge…
D is for DC, the Siamese cat in the 1965 Disney movie That Darn Cat! (There is a 1997 remake of this movie but I haven’t seen it.) DC stands for Darn Cat. And unlike my other three entries, this character is just a cat. He doesn’t speak or talk in riddles. He is just a cat who loves to explore the neighborhood who inadvertently follows a bank robber home.
When the robber’s hostage slips a watch on DC, it sets off a chain of events involving the FBI who try to use the cat to find the robber’s home. But being a cat, DC is not the most cooperative. He eludes them in humiliating and comedic ways.
In case you missed out…
