For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I have chosen the theme of character flaws – something all characters need. If you are here looking for my typical Monday post about a parenting issue, I will go back to my regular schedule in May. Until then, enjoy the A to Z Challenge…
While A could be for Arrogance or Absentminded, I have chosen Argumentative. Some people enjoy arguing about every little thing. No matter what you say, they have to disagree or give you their opposing opinion. It can be quite annoying to have every word you utter challenged.
But as with any negative, this can have some positives though I am not sure I would go as far to call it a positive trait. Maybe it shows your character’s gumption for standing up for what they believe. They have no fear of speaking their mind, and those “arguments” may just be their form of offering their view point.
While some arguments can be enjoyable, a character who always disagrees or has to get the last word in whether it has value or not is definitely an arrogant, disagreeable sort, so I am sticking with being argumentative as been a flaw.
