For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I have chosen the theme of songs about magic. (Fitting for a fantasy author.) If you are here looking
E is for “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic” by The Police. This song is from their fourth album, Ghost in the Machine. And while this album came out in 1981, Sting (lead singer for The Police) may have written it as early as 1976.
When he presented it to the band, they felt it was a bit “soft,” but Sting insisted it was a number one hit. The song hit number one in the United Kingdom and number three in the United States.
And once again, this is a song about the magic of a woman and not about spells and incantations.
“Every little things she does is magic,
Everything she do just turns me on…”
