On our honeymoon to Disney World, the waitress at the Kona cafe recommended the pink Leilani drink to me at breakfast. It was wonderful (as was the Tonga Toast – banana-stuffed French toast). A few years later, I picked up Mickey’s Gourmet Cookbook and as luck with have it, the recipe for the Pink Leilani was included.
2 cups fresh strawberries
3 cups orange juice
1 T. grenadine
Puree berries in a blender. Add orange juice and grenadine. Pour into a tall glass over crushed ice.
